hi my name is tyler and im 20 years old. just wondering what the very first step would be on the path... i have no previous training of any kind and am starting at the beginning now... any help would be great, thanks

Hi Tyler--
Step 1 would be to take a discovery flight. This will be an hour or so of flying with an instructor who will show you what it is like to fly an airplane. You can do this at just about any airport with a flight school for somewhere under $100. thanx for the advice. i'm not actually able to do that because im just really broke... but the info i was really interested in was what college classes to take, do i need college or can i just do flight school, prerequisites n stuff like that... but again thank you for your time

You don't need college in order to start flight training. To be hired at an airline college is more important and almost a requirement. I highly recommend you make a plan to earn your bachelors degree. The subject is unimportant--study something you like.
