Jeremy,

Welcome to the forums. This is a great place to get all the most up-to-date information and an inside look at an airline pilot's life. Please take the time to ask all the questions you have and, I'll do my best to answer then. The only thing I ask is to please separate out each question into it's own thread so others can easily find it.

What airline were you a flight attendant for?

Congratulations for chasing your dream! Thank you, and once again welcome to the forums.

Clint

Default Thanks

Hi everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I will make sure I ask the questions seperately so all can benefit.

I flew for United Airlines as a flight attendant and it really just opened my eyes as too how much I really love to fly. And obviously it goes beyond just being in the air but the lifestyle that comes with it. The flex in the schedule is wonderful and you cannot beat the benefits.

I look forward to starting my training. I know it will be very fast paced and intense but I'm just excited to get going.

That's great.

How are things coming along? Is everything on track to attend one of locations in FL this February?

I was based in Denver for a few years doing mostly only United flying and loved it.

Is there anything I can help you with? You must have a few questions. I'm here for you. Things are slow, so I have plenty of time to help you out.

Keep us all posted on your progress.

Thanks,

Clint

Hello.

Yeah everything is on track for me to begin the program. The biggest obstacle is nearly done, The financing, so I'm pretty much ready to pack my things and head for daytona. I really don't have any questions at this point. I visited 3 different locations and got some good advice from friends of mine back at United so I feel pretty confident that i understand what I am gerting into.
I am beginning the process of packing up my apartment and finding storage for all of my things untill I get settled after everything is done that needs to be.

Denver is a nice city, I was there quite often. Everyone used to make fun of me and say I should have just been based there for as often as i got trips there. I see you live in phoenix. I lived in phoenix for awhile while based in SFO. It was an easy commute and much cheaper to live there than San Fran. I was off camelback drive just outside scottsdale. Its absolutely beautiful there
