Default Please tell me how?!?!?!?

Clint, (or anybody else who would like to chime in..)
I have full intentions and started making plans to attend ATP in Jacksonville either in Sept or Oct of this year.. (depending on my student loan). I know that the housing is all included in the price and that is an awesome deal, but being fully involved with the PPL program as well as the 90 day and RJ training, and not working how did you get by? I know cutting costs as well as budgeting is a HUGE factor and I have been cutting all costs and budgeting all my expenses, but not working I cant see a way to get by with some of the basic expenses such as ... food and personal items that you may need. So my question is How? How did you live when you were in the training?
Any info would help!
Thanks!
-Kevin

Kevin,

It is true that you have to be very frugal with your money. All I can say is I saved up money before starting the program. My recommendation would be not eat out but to cook as many meals each day in the apartments. I believe you can also get a loan for more money then the cost of the program to help with those expenses and checkrides. I'm not totally sure but make sure to ask about that when setting up your financing. It's tough and also one of the main concerns of everyone doing this. Everyone is able to do it somehow. The good news is it goes by so fast and before you know it you'll be instructing getting paid to fly.
