Default Clint's Pay History (Updated 2/11/2008)

Here is all my pay history with Skywest. My hire date and first day of training was 6/6/05. When I was hired Skywest, they didn’t pay during training. That of course has changed. You do get paid during training now. Pay started after I did my actual airplane ride (before IOE). First year pay is $19.02, second $35, and by the time I finish captain training I’ll be making $60. Per Diem is $1.60 I believe. I’ve only picked up a couple a trips for extra money in my two years. I try to work as little as possible. Some of my monthly totals also include the bonus from Skywest. Also I took 3 weeks off without pay after my son was born. I did it without pay because I’m banking all my time until it is worth captain pay at $60 an hour vs. using it when it was only worth $19. I finished my upgrade training for Captain and my first trip as an official Captain was in 8/07. For more information about my large month in 7/07 se my other post titled my $14,367.81 Paycheck here. I also started to separate out the bonus for you to see.

Default pay

hi clint,

i read about your pay and it looks like you are your way up the ladder. thats good. you mentioned that SkyWest did not pay during your training phase and that they do now. How much do they pay now during the training phase? was this after you finished your course from 0 to Instructor or a little after?
