Back on reserve again, I am 5 away from holding a line. I am hoping that I can get a relief line. That is a line that is built by the company with hopefully your request taken into account. The one positive thing is that it is a line. That means I get to pick up and drop flights as I want. Plus I know what I am doing and not at the whims of a scheduler. Hoping to get a relief line. Wish me luck.

Well got a relief line. That means that the company is going to give me a monthly schedule. The good news is that I will be able to trade, drop, or pick up trips just like a line holder. The bad news is that I will not know what I am doing until two days before the month starts. This means that my CFI retraining that I have already scheduled for January 2 -5th could be cancelled because the company has me working or I could choose to drop the trip and thus loose the money.

Either way, this speculation could all just be that speculation. Like I said, I have no idea what I am doing until two days before the month starts. Wish me luck.
