Default BOBBY'S BIO

Hi everyone and welcome to my Bio!

I began flying in '98 while attending college at the Universtiy of Nebraska at Omaha. I obtained my Private Pilot certificate in September of 2003, and the very next day was driving to Jacksonville, FL to begin the Airline Career Pilot Program. For the next few months I was constantly studying and taking checkrides. It took me approximately 80 days to finish the program, and then I headed back to Nebraska already knowing that I had a flight instructing position with ATP.

For the next several months I completed my Bachelor's degree and continued to fulfill my commitment to the Nebraska Air National Guard as an enlisted crew chief on the KC-135R. Once I was ready I began instructing with ATP at the Riverside, CA location for about 30 days, followed by about 6 months at the Las Vegas, NV location.

During all of this I was selected for an Officer slot within our Guard unit, so I took a break from flight instructing to attend Officer and follow-on training. After this and also deploying overseas ATP allowed me the opportunity to return to LAS, so I completed the CRJ Regional Jet Standards Certification and continued instructing until being hired by Pinnacle Airlines in Feb. 2006.

I am currently a First Officer flying the CRJ-200 for Pinnacle Airlines and a Maintenance Officer in the Nebraska Air National Guard.

Thanks for taking the time to visit, please feel free to ask any questions!
