Default Intro Josh aka "Daddy Mac"

Hewrow,
My name is Joshua McKenzie. I am indeed a ZERO. I currently reside in beautiful Louisville, Kentucky. I am 25 and I have my Associate of Arts. I suddenly found a fire in my pants (no, not that one) for aviation. I planned on attended the University of Louisville however I'd rather be a pilot.

My career has been steeped in Sign Language Interpreting. I learned sign language as I had deaf parents. The field pays remarkable $30 to $50 an hour full time and the industry is growing, but my heart isn't in it.

I currently snagged a job with Delta as a ticket counter rep. Flight benefits are awesome... Still want to be a pilot.

Hey Daddy Mac? (Daddy Mac, really?),

Well welcome to the club. Being a pilot is something many people dream of but few realize. Most think it's something to fantasize about but it really can be more of a reality than you might realize. It takes a little smarts, alot of desire and hard work (and some green).

No reason you can't get your degree AND do some pilot training as well (they're not exclusive and it's always good to have something to "fall back on"). Also perhaps you could do some part-time Sign Interpretation to supplement the somewhat meager starting pay at the airlines.

Good making your acquaitance and hope to hear from you soon,

Adam
