Hello Chris,

I have viewed several other posted questions and received very good information thus far. I did see some conversations about eyesight, do you have to have 20/20 vision as a requsite? Also is a 4 Year degree mandatory to be interviewed by a Major Airline?

Your vision must be correctable with glasses or contacts to 20/20 to obtain a medical certificate from the FAA. I wear glasses, but thave 20/20 with them on so I am ok to fly. Four year degrees are not mandatory for regional airlines, but they are for almost every major airline. Continental does not officially require one, but they really do not interview people who do not have them. That being said, do not despair. After you get hired at a regional airline you will most likely work there for several years. This is a great opprotunity to work on your degree online. I know several people who are in the process of doing this and seem to enjoy the program. An online degree is perfectly okay, as long as it is from a reputable college. ATP has an agreement with Utah Valley State. You can learn about his at:
