Mitch,
My name is Michael, im 17 years old and I live in south Philadelphia. I would like to become a commercial airline pilot. I was wondering what do you think is the better way to go, civilian or military? How long after graduating from college were you hired? Which way did you take? Also, my father had some questions if you email me I will give you his number, my email is: cadminjuv@comcast.net I really do appreciate you taking the time to do this, I hope you made your dream become a reality. Civilian vs. Military is up to you. A lot of it depends on your eyesight as the requirements for the military are stricter. I was flying with the airlines within a year of college, but I was aggressive. Everyone has a different pace.... it depends on your drive. More later... on a short layover right now in Nashville, need sleep.
