Default Bad credit

do the airlines do a credit check during the hiring process? Do they disqualify potential pilots if they have a poor credit history??

Not that I am aware of. I have never heard of anything like that.

They do background checks though for security, and I don't know what is contained in that, but I am pretty sure that personal credit scores wouldn't be.

Default phew

Ok good because I killed my credit during the last few months. I maxed out my credit cards on flight lessons which brought my credit score down. I am concerned that something like that could ruin my chances of getting hired.

On a positive note, I begin at ATP in LGB in less than two weeks on Monday June 22!! can't wait!
