Hi Jerry,
You can call me O.J. I recieved an email that told me you are my coach, and figured I should contact you. I went and visited the Birmingham center Saturday. I met with the instructor, Clay Reynolds. Clay answered all of my questions and was knowledgeable of the process. I have been overly impressed with ATP so far, and I feel like this is going to be a great experience for me. I have never had any formal flight training, but I have always had a strong desire to be a pilot. I inherited my fascination with flight from my father who is a private pilot. I'm twenty three now and I have experienced my share of success and failure. The downturn in the economy has led me to reconsider the direction of my future, and I have decided that I'm just gonna do what I have to to become a pilot since that is what I truly want to do. I am really excited about starting the program. It will be a few months yet before I can begin because I need to get my ducks in a row first. I want to have nothing slowing me down once I start. Clay and I decided that the self-paced program is best for me as I must continue to work while completing my training. I look forward to hearing from you. Thanks, O.J. Melton |

O.J., how are you? I just found your post under the 'My schedule' portion of the forum and realized it was put there quite some time ago! My apologies for the confusion!
Are you still interested in flight training? If so, let's talk about your options. Hope this finds you well. Once again, sorry for the confusion. I'm going to move your post to the general area. |

Jerry! It's probably my fault you got my message in the wrong place. I don't really communicate over the internet much, I'm more of a traditional guy. I am actually starting my training on June 8. I am very excited about getting started. I assume that you also did your's with ATP. I have high expectations of the training and career placement that I will recieve. Any advice that you have would be greatly appreciated, brother. Talk to you soon.

Oh man! That's right around the corner!!! Which location did you end up picking? Have you been studying? Keep in touch and let me know how you progress through training.
I did go through the program back in 2005 in Jacksonville, FL. I know that you will not be dissapointed. Talk to ya soon. |
