Default Introduction

Hello my name is will, and I am aspiring to be a commercial pilot. In the long run I would like my own charter, but for now i have to start somewhere. I have always wanted to be a pilot, I have just recently begun to realize my dreams. One day i saw an ad in the local paper for an hour of instructed flight time in a 170s series Cessna. I took it and have been hooked ever since.I am very confident in my flying, and i felt like I could do it for ever.On my first flight my instructor sat next to me at the ready but virtually did nothing but instruct me what to do it all came really natural to me .I handled the preflight checklist, the walk around inspection of the aircraft, communicated with the tower, taxid out to the proper runway, lined up, powerbraked the 172,throttled up,and away we went, into the wild blue yonder. He had me do some pretty routine manuvers, realign with the proper runway, and land the plane with a minimum of assistance.I caught a mild tailwind, kicked the plane a little sideways. But I landed it all the same, oh by the way i took my girlfriend with me ,and when we got up about 1500 feet the instructor asked through the com. who was flying the plane, and when I told them I was flying the plane, she let out a blood curdeling scream . I couldnt help but to laugh. My other expieriance includes loads of trade work,I am a code welder/mechanic.

I thank you for being my coach, and answering my questions.

Haha, that's funny about your girlfriend being in the back! If I had a nickel for every time someone asked that question...
Tell me... How many flight hours do you have? Where do you live? How many years have you been at your current position?
I can answer pretty much any question you might have about life in the airlines, or training at ATP or other flight schools. If I don't know the answer, I'll get one for you.
Let me know what I can do to help!
