Default Dan's BIO

Greetings to all! My name is Dan Bosetti. I am a first officer for Comair airlines and an ATP alumni. Here is a little about my experiences in fulfilling my dream of becoming a pilot.

My interest in aviation began at the age of nine, while on a 4th grade fieldtrip to the airport. Watching all of the planes land and takeoff was astonishing! I knew then-and-there, that I wanted to fly. Once I graduated from high school, I took all the graduation money I received and put it towards getting my private pilot license at my local airport. In addition, I also attended Oakland Community College in Auburn Hills, Michigan, where I received my Associate Degree in Liberal Arts.

Soon after graduating from OCC, I decide to take the next big step in living the aviation dream we all hope of making come true. First, I looked at different flight schools, like Regional Airline Academy, ATP, and Delta Connection Academy. ATP seemed like the best fit for me, so I signed up and started the 90 day, Airline Career Pilot Program (90 ACPP) in Daytona Beach, Florida. Soon after completing the 90 ACCP, I registered for and began the Regional Jet Program in Jacksonville, Florida. While there, I gained helpful information on jet procedures. Soon after completing the course, I was hired by Comair to fly the CRJ-200, and let me tell you it has been everything I thought it would!

Good luck to everyone and I look forward to working with you!

Dan
