Hi Dan, my name is Vic. Like many others, my dream of Flying hovers around me in deafning silence. I am 47 yrs old and I wanted to know if the idea of pursuing this dream and hopefully a career in the Airline Industry is still a reasonable path to take.

Hey Vic,
Welcome to the boards!! I would have to say that 47 is getting on the older side. Not to say it can not be done, but I would say by the time you get hired your looking at only 8 or so years. You would be a somewhat senior Captian when you would have to retire at 65. Hope that helps Dan
