Default Hello Dan

I guess you could call me pappy. Im a 42 year old retired Naval Aircrewman. Yes, i rode in the back of the MH-53 Sea Stallion, C-12 King Air, and the
DC-9 as a Loadmaster. I have always wanted to move up front but never had that opportunity until now. I know its not too late but, by the time i am hireable is it worth the investment? I currently have my SE pilot rating with approx. 70 hours.
Have a good one.

Hey Pappy, Welcome to the boards.

It would be within reach to be an airline pilot within the next 2-3 years. So with that said you would still have 21 good years at the airlines as a senior captain. Having the SE rating already helps you, because you could have the rest of it done within 3 months of starting all of the rest of the ratings.

I hope that helps

Dan
