Once ive completed all the requirements to be able to intruct can i instruct and continue the airline program while teaching almost like work study that colleges have? I am looking at the trenton office its only about thirty minutes away but the NY one is supposed to open pretty soon, well atleast when ill start the program they will be. Do you know if they have housing there? Do you know how the trenton office is? Also i was going to go zero-airline program, but i dont necessarily want to be an airline pilot maybe cargo, aeriel firefighting, medical, regional, and some others but i know most those jobs you need to just build hours you have any ideas if ATP can work me to those careers? lastly, im pretty lost what i want to get a degree at in college is there anything i can study at college that is close to aviation that could help me engineering, geophraphy or something? Thanks!

Chris,
The New York training center will be located at Farmingdale Airport FRG. Housing will not be available. The last three checkrides you take will be for your instructor certificates, so instructing while you finish is not practical. You can, if you wish join an online degree program for your four year degree and instruct while you complete your college online. Doing it that way is usually the quickest way to become competitive for hire. James |

If i decide to go through a four year college on campus instead of online is there anything i can do to prep for flight school im a sophmore this year so i only have 2 more years and i might start flight training next year or following. Maybe get some manuals or a flight sim to practice checklist and such on?
