Question Items....

If i'm going to do the ACPP would they include a HEADSET for the training, that could be mines forever?

I looked at the ACPP website page and it doesn't say if they are going to include a HEADSET for it.

Really Easy Question

tnx

Hey there Jeff,

When I did the program there were headsets included in the aircraft that you could use for free. They stayed with the aircraft and even though they weren't the most comfortable for longer flights, they did the job.

I would highly recommend getting a good quality headset for yourself that you would be using during all of your training and beyond. Your hearing is something that needs to be protected since once you lose it... it's gone.

I purchased a Bose headset when I was in the program and I've used it as a flight instructor and even still now as an airline captain, it's still with me every day.

Most headsets have "trial" periods, and I'd definately take advantage of those. It's a great way to try them out. Purchasing a headset is a very personal decision, and no two people's heads are the same shape so each one feels and sounds differently to everyone. Once you find one that fits, works well, and is comfortable... you'll know, and you won't want to fly with anything else.

Good luck!

Bob

Bob,

Thank You so much Bob. I appreciate your reply. I might as well buy my own headset.

Deff think about the Bose Aviation X. I got one before starting my training and I wouldn't ever fly without it.
