I have a quick question about the non-included examiners fees of $4,000, are these included in the loan? If so, how are the examiners paid, ATP or does the student have to pay out of pocket these fees. I have been approved for the full $85,000 if that helps. Thanks.
David

Hi David -
In your case, your loan proceeds will include additional expense money that ATP will issue to you by check, normally in two payments that correspond to your progress. You will deposit or cash those checks and you will then pay the Designated Pilot Examiner directly, in cash, at the time of each flight check. I think this is the information you were looking for. If not, let me know. - Justin |
