Hey How's it going? I am 28 years old. I live in West Palm Beach, FL. I have my Private and about 25 hours (under the hood) towards my instrument rating. I also have about 20 hours in a high performance airplane and about 45 hours cross country time, with a total of about 150 hours. I recently got accepted into the professional pilot program. I paid my deposit today and will be attending the program in Stuart, Florida starting on September 22. I don't have my books and stuff yet so hopefully I have enough time to prepare (Today is August 28). I look forward to hearing from you.

Welcome to the forums! That's exciting to hear about your start date in the ACPP! Stuart is a cool location--right there on the water. Those guys have a good time down there (at least back in my day they did!).

Hopefully you'll get your books soon and you can dive right in. Don't be afraid to get right into that Piper Seminole supplement. The majority of your multiengine add-on ground school will come right out of that book. It's a very well-organized and concise overview of multiengine flying. Make sure you understand the concepts in there as well as you can before you start. It will make that first week much easier. If you have any questions, PLEASE, do not hesitate to write me.

Also, if you have time, get in to those Gleim written test prep books and see if you can knock out a few written tests before you start. You won't regret it. If there's a CATS testing center near you in West Palm, see if you can take them there. Otherwise, show up in Stuart prepared to take a few and get them done as soon as you can. The instrument written will take the most time to prepare for and is typically the most challenging for students.
