MEI and ASA

Matt,

I meant to ask you, do you know a first officer based at ASA in ATL named Mark Russell? Also, I noticed you flew into MEI earlier this month. That is where I logged my first flight. I was stationed there in the Navy. Never cared for Mississippi much, other than Biloxi. How about you?

Not sure about the FO you're talking about. It's likely that I've seen him "around the office," but I wouldn't know him from Adam. Everyone around there sort of looks the same, you know? He was probably the one wearing the white shirt and black tie, right?

Yes, I was unfortunate enough to be stuck in MEI over the 4th of July. I hadn't been there in a while so I figured it couldn't be that bad, right? Don't know much about the city, but let me tell you, there's not a lot to do around the hotel, even on the 4th. Pretty typical of the smaller cities we service. It is cool to see the KC-135s going in and out of Key Field, though. I won't be too upset if I don't go there again for a while!
