Chad,

Thanks for the post! Where are you from? What college are you enrolled in and what's your major? Just want to get to know you a little more so I can give you the best advice!

Sounds like you're in the same spot I was when I was a senior at UGA. i knew I waned to be an airline pilot, I just didn't know where to start! A website like this one would have been a great help!

My first bit of advice: finish your degree. I'm assuming that if you're 22, you're probably at least getting close! Use that time to decide how you want to go about getting your flight training done. The key decisions are primarily price and time frame. Can you afford to go full time?

You'll have to get a handful of certificates and ratings and build some flight time before you can apply to the airlines. Take a look at ATP's Airline Career Pilot Program (http://www.atpflightschool.com/airli...ams/index.html). It will give you a good idea of what's required in order to be eligible for airline employment. It'll also give you an idea about cost and time required.

Let me know if this helps!
