It's nice to meet you! It's so exciting to get your career kicked started. It's a lot of work, but well worth it once you are sitting up front taking off for the first time. Like you, I started my private license with someone other than ATP. Looking back I wish I hadn't for money reasons. I ended up spending a lot more because it took so long. But at the same time, it was good because I wasn't 100% sure this was what I wanted to do.

Once I started at ATP, I knew I made a good choice. It would have taken me probably 5 years total to finish and get enough flight hours from instructing at a local FBO if I finished at the place I got my private. When I started ATP, I was working for an airline in a year, so crazy! It was the best choice for me. But make sure to do all the research so you'll know it's the best choice for you too!
