Of course I remember that thread! You've been extremely busy... and I'm very proud of you for sticking to task and getting some great scores as well!

Congrats!

Yes... just call up your local FSDO and let them know the tests you've completed, and that you'd like to set up an appointment to get your ground instructor certificate.

When you ask about the "Inst." oral exam guide... are you referring to the "Instrument" or the Instructor" guide?

Either way... reading those guides are great resoures... but remember... everything you are learning now is paving the way for the what you will need to know down the road. So... you are actually learning as you go.

The Jeppesen Intrument Handbook is a great resource as well. Also... remember that the CFI rating is NOT a test to see if you know everything... rather it's a test to see if you can teach what you do know... and if you have the resources to find the answers to questions you don't know.
